Oncology Scar Therapy treatments specially focus on reducing any issues related to surgery or radiotherapy. I use gentle and effective soft therapy techniques to

Shiatsu is a touch-based therapy that originates from Japan. Various techniques such as massage, pressure, movement and stretching work with the meridians and acupressure points of East Asian medicine. A Shiatsu treatment is given over loose comfortable clothing making it safe and accessible.

Aromatherapy Massage 60 Minutes

Aromatherapy massage combines the therapeutic benefits of massage, acupressure points and the aromatic properties of essential oils. Essential oils are extracted from the plant kingdom, from flowers, herbs, seeds, fruit, tree bark, roots or spices. The essential oils are mixed with a carrier oil and massaged onto the skin. Through massage the oils are absorbed readily through the skin into the blood and lymphatic system.

Emotionally, aromatherapy massage alleviates stress, anxiety, and promotes a sense of peace and well-being. Myofascial Release (MFR) is a hands on technique that focuses on releasing tension and restrictions within the fascia, the connective tissue network that surrounds and supports muscles, bones, and organs throughout the body. Unlike traditional massage that primarily targets muscle tissue and uses oil on the body, MFR addresses the entire fascial system, recognising that restrictions in one area can affect other seemingly unrelated parts of the body. Without using oil I will use gentle, sustained pressure to identify and release areas of fascial tightness, aiming to restore length, flexibility, and function. This approach can alleviate pain, improve range of motion, and address a variety of conditions, including chronic pain, headaches, fibromyalgia, trauma and injuries. MFR can be beneficial to receive both before and after surgery as it can support recovery and natural healing, especially around scars, (even many years after surgery). The goal of MFR is to promote a more fluid and balanced state within the body, allowing for improved posture, reduced stress, emotional release and enhanced overall well-being.

Anpuku - Abdominal Massage

Anpuku is Japanese abdominal massage. The word Anpuku means An (to give peace to) puku (the abdomen).
It is an ancient art form that uses flowing massage strokes and acupressure points to work on the abdomen and whole body. Anpuku is beneficial for supporting digestion, the treatment boosts your microbiome and helps to clear the intestines naturally. Anpuku also helps too deepen breathing by effectively releasing the diaphragm. Abdominal massage works directly with your nervous system via the Vagus Nerve and quickly helps you to become deeply relaxed. Better digestion supports hormone production, this treatment is beneficial to receive this treatment particularly if you are peri menopausal or suffering from PMT.

You can book Anpuku as a stand alone treatment or request it as part of a shiatsu or massage. Please note - it is best not to recieve the treatment when you are menstruating.

As always a brilliant experience. Zoe is a very skilled practitioner and creates a bespoke massage informed by her knowledge and training, that caters to my specific health needs on the day. I now regularly see Zoe every month and feel the benefits every time. Over the past months she has attended to oncolgy scarring and vastly improved the reduced sensation and movememt that I was experiencing following surgery. The pain from radiation fibrosis has also vastly improved and continues to do so. I highly reccomend Zoe.

Went to see Zoe as I had a back complaint she was friendly and communicated with me well and put me at ease as I wasn't sure what to expect I came out feeling very relaxed not completely pain free but much better than I went in i felt she had completely straightened me up like I felt taller was told to take it easy and look forward to next session and any excersise advice she has for me
